Alcatel-Lucent was a telecom equipment-related giant that launched the Alcatel mobile phone brand in collaboration with TCL of China. TCL later acquired the complete brand and now looks after design, development and marketing of new Alcatel phones. Alcatel-Lucent itself was acquired by Nokia in 2016.
